what camera are you getting?

I bought a Canon A80 (review), because it has more settings than other cameras in my price range, from fully automatic through to all manual. -very useful for low light situtions.- plus it has this wicked swivel LCD that makes setting up an odd angled shot easy to do without moving around much. It came on Wednesday, but all I could do with my cold messing my head up was to open the box and oooh and ahhh over it. Yesterday I took 29 shots and they were weak. Today I was out in Richmond after going to A-Power and took around 120 shots. I’m keeping 34, of which I think I like 2 or 3. I found a burnt out building that I couldn’t get into, so I went around back and found a bunch of textures and stuff to look at. A nice place to hang out for a couple hours, playing around with settings to see what it can do. I saw a beaver in a swampy ditch behind a wood-chip mill that seemed to be oozing all kinds of nasty shit into the air and groundsoil. That beaver must have pcb brains, cause it was acting like swampzilla..(pcp, pcb, whatever. it’s all rock and roll to me!). -if you look closely at the water you can see it’s multicoloured psychedelia..
