+ I’ve been trying to habitualize myself to following the Fair Use concept when publishing. Here’s a reminder and an enlightener for those of you who don’t know about what’s Fair use, or not fair? [via: NewsForge]

+ Yesterday at a sushi lunch at Mr Sushi on Davie, I was offended by an article on Frank Paul (not Paul Frank). Another native who’s life ended as a result of either Police negligence, or deliberate racism. Either way there absolutely aught to be an inquirey into why a unconscious native man was dragged out of the drunk tank and dumped into a rainy alley to die of hyppothermia. The Solicitor General Rich Coleman has rejected having a public inquirey due to significant concern ‘with the possibility of opening a coroner’s inquest during which culpability, liability, and issues of racial discrimination are likely to become the central features of attempted cross examination. Simply put, a coroner’s inquest is not the forum for these debates’ What a load of crap.

police video of Frank Paul being dragged across floor.

+ Regan’s older brother, Riley O’Connor, is an exec at House of Blues and was interviewed as part of a CBC piece on Ticket Master price gouging. read or watch. [via: Kirstie]
